Stitches
So I cut my finger really bad, like all the way to the bone. But not to much permanent damage. I don't have feeling in part of my finger (which I probably never will), but it's healing okay. Here is a video of the stitching process. :) It's not all that gross... if your scheemish about blood, then you may not want to watch. But other than that, you really can't see anything.

Unfortunately, staff housing's resident doctor had moved out...otherwise it would have been a much safer (and less eventful) "staff housing event". Rumor has it, he'll be back soon! Oh, and what everyone else should know...there are a number of doctors around who would have gladly stitched up Louis' finger, but for some reason he thought it would be better to do it on his own.
ReplyDeleteOh Louie Louie Louie.... here you are with a gash down to the bone, sitting by towels with like a gallon of your lost blood, poking your own wound... and the first thing you say is simply a calm, "Huh, this is pretty tough skin." Lol.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting good surgical practice down there, even if you have to mame yourself to get it, heheh. :) Hope it heals well.
